Data providers
auspropertysearch has used theLIST spatial database (and Title Plan if required), provided by the Department of Primary Industries and Water, to verify the location of the property. In some cases an approximate property boundary is used due to a spatial boundary being unavailable (for example, in new subdivisions); in these cases a note is added to the report explaining that the affected areas are only approximate.
Map Display
The map display uses map data from theLIST, provided by the Department of Primary Industries and Water, combined with the property location information above.
Tenements
The mining lease and exploration license databases published by Mineral Resources Tasmania, Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources have been searched to assess whether the property falls within the boundary of any mining tenements. The version provided to us online by Mineral Resources Tasmania is the most up to date reference available.
Engineering Geology
Digital datasets for geological maps published by Mineral Resources Tasmania (1:250000 Tasmanian Geology and 1:10000 Launceston Geology) have been searched. The version used by auspropertysearch is regularly updated by Mineral Resources Tasmania.
Proclaimed and Advisory Landslip
Digital datasets for proclaimed landslip areas and advisory landslip maps published by Mineral Resources Tasmania have been searched. The version used by auspropertysearch is regularly updated by Mineral Resources Tasmania.
Water Management Plans
We have digitised the boundary of Water Management Plans provided by the Department of Primary Industries and Water to assess if the groundwater beneath the property is affected by a Water Management Plan. We regularly monitor the progress of proposed Water Management Plans, and these will be added to the system when required.
Tasmanian Gas Pipeline
Digital datasets for the Tasmanian Gas Pipeline provided by PowerCo, the operator of the pipeline have been searched. The version used by auspropertysearch is the final 'built' version of the pipeline.
Private Timber Reserves
Digital datasets for Private Timber Reserves, provided by Private Forests Tasmania through theLIST, have been searched. The version used by auspropertysearch is the most up to date public version.
TasNetworks Wayleave Searches
Requests for Wayleave Searches are sent to TasNetworks Pty Ltd for processing, with the results mailed directly to our customers.
Heritage Register Searches
Requests for Heritage Register Searches are sent to the Tasmanian Heritage Council for processing, with the results faxed directly to our customers.
